Advanced workflows are available on VLX Pro+ and Enterprise plans. These features are designed to support organizations that require strict control over inspection processes, custom review logic, and tailored user flows.

🔐 **Locking Inspections**

Control when and how an inspection can be edited:

- Add a **custom button** to lock the inspection once a step is complete.
- Trigger status changes, lock specific pages, and notify relevant team members automatically.
- Ensure that once locked, inspections can’t be modified unless explicitly unlocked via workflow controls.

Use case: Prevent further edits once a supervisor has approved the inspection.

🛠 **Custom Buttons**

Create buttons that trigger specific actions, such as:

- Changing inspection status (e.g., from "In Progress" to "Pending Review").
- Locking specific pages or the entire inspection.
- Notifying team members or triggering downstream automations.
- Controlling appearance and behavior for both initial and clicked states.

Use case: Add a “Send for Review” button that locks the page and alerts a manager.

📌 **Custom Statuses**

Define custom inspection statuses tailored to your workflow:

- Replace generic status flows with ones that reflect your operations (e.g., “Ready for Shipping,” “Awaiting QA,” “Needs Rework”).
- Use these statuses in dashboards and buttons to trigger automation.
- Combine with permissions and filters to restrict access by status.

Use case: Allow inspections in the “QA Review” state to only be editable by QA admins.
