Overview Custom buttons let you design interactions inside your inspection templates, triggering specific actions when clicked—similar to automations without code.
How to Use It
- In the template editor, drag a Button into your template from the Action Buttons section.
- Customize:
- Text and style (color, bold, alignment)
- Clicked State appearance (optional)
- Set actions under the On Click tab:
- Lock the page or inspection
- Change the inspection’s status
- Set a Custom Status
- Send email alerts to specific users or roles
- Optionally, configure an On Revert state for undo actions.
Example A “Submit for Approval” button that:
- Locks the page
- Changes the status to “Awaiting Review”
- Sends an email to the reviewer
